{Sign Up For Silver Linings Emails and Never Miss a Pattern}

After much consideration, we have decided to delay our super popular annual free “Block of the Month” and do something a little smaller and lighter during this season of Global Pandemic.

The Silver Linings Sew Along will release a new pieced “surprise” block each Monday for 12 weeks. You will be able to download these blocks right from this page (see below.)

Optional- sign up at any time throughout this sew along, and be notified via email every time we release a new pieced block. PLUS, get the BONUS embroidery blocks as well.

Watch for bonus embroidery blocks every other Friday, delivered via email ONLY to those on the email list.

(and some extra project bonuses for Silver Linings email subscribers!)

We will be releasing 12 pieced blocks that can be downloaded from this page, plus if you sign up for our optional email list, you will get 6 embroidery blocks (for a total of 18 blocks!) Our completed quilt will have 12 blocks, so you can choose any blocks you want to put into the final quilt project.

Do you have questions about our Sew Along or technical problems?  See our FAQ Page for common questions and answers.

Optional Fabric Bundle!

This project is perfect for using fat quarters! For my quilt, I am using the Singing in the Rain fat quarter bundle (which is unfortunately now sold out – Sorry!). Although this bundle may not be available, you can find many other fun fat quarter bundles at the Fat Quarter Shop. You can make the whole project (including binding) with a quarter bundle, plus ½ yard of border fabric and your backing fabric (see Introduction & Fabric Requirements below.)

Hi – I’m Jacquelynne, and I love being creative!

I’m so glad you are joining us for this sew along! We are going to keep things SIMPLE- simple blocks, released weekly, that you can complete in less than an hour. It will kind of be like a “mystery”- you won’t know what the blocks look like until we release them each week…

AND- if you sign up for our optional email list, you’ll also receive 6 BONUS embroidery patterns, released every other Friday. Now, the embroidery blocks will take longer than hour to complete… but embroidery is super calming and relaxing! If you’ve never tried it, I’ve got some videos to get you started.

It can be hard sometimes to find the time that we need to be creative – but with all that is going on in the world right now, it is more important than ever that we take some time and get creative..
All of us have that creative spark in us – and when we use it that spark can grow and give us joy and make us better people.
