Hi Jacquelynne, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Angel Hugs Noelene
So very sorry for your loss…prayers of comfort to your family.
I’m sorry to hear of your loss. We lost my father in law right before Christmas. He suffered from dementia along with many complications. Though we know he is at peace it is a hard loss so I understand. Give yourselves time to grieve.
Thanks for sharing the yo-yo projects. I have a whole bunch of them (hundreds) I made when my boys were little. I’ve never done anything other than sew the yo-yos and a few projects. Now I’ll have to make more projects with them.
Terribly sorry to hear of your family’s loss. Expected deaths are still sad occasions. We lost my husband’s sister this week after a lengthy respiratory illness. It’s sad, but in a way it’s a relief, too. May God be with you and your family as you mourn your loved one.
Sorry to hear of your loss, my virtually blind mother died after complications, with dementia. But it seemed worse not being able to do anything to help her. And now she is peaceful.
As for yo yos, I have boxes of them, only every made a few things, but loved making them up.
I just love all the yo yo patterns. I’ve got a big collection of yo yo pieces and now I know what to do with them!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all, to loose your Mum is like loosing your rudder, even if you haven’t needed her for so long, those ties are never broken. May she rest in peace now and, may you all find peace knowing she has moved on to a better place.
Thank you for sharing , I have 6 or 7 of the templates that I never use. This is just the push I need.
I pray that the Lord brings you comfort after the loss of your MIL. I’ve had a box of yoyos that I made many years ago, and never finished a project with them. I made the yoyo dog for my son to take to college in fabrics that looked like our dog’s colouring. Brindle is hard to match, but I did it!
Sorry for you loss. Praying for comfort and peace. I too lost my mom to dementia. I understand. It’s been 2 years, I miss my Mom that was well; not the dementia part.
I Enjoy your emails and the projects you present.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. These projects are so cute. Thank you for sharing.
So sorry for your loss. Take time to grieve, and enjoy your family. May God bless you and yours with comfort and peace.
Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. The memories of times together are precious.
Thanks for sharing my Happy Day Liberty Mini Quilt project amongst all these other beauties! The tutorial for this is no longer available as the Sew Mama Sew site closed down, but beginners can find my simple YoYo tutorial on my own site here; https://www.mollyandmama.com.au/make-a-fabric-yo-yo-or-suffolk-puff/
My husband died of dementia on January 19. His service is tomorrow afternoon (Feb 9). Dementia is such a nasty disease. It robs the patient of his/her life. My husband was not the man I had married or lived with for 58 years. I am thankful he no longer has to deal with being a helpless child, but I miss the man I used to know.
So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers for comfort for your family.
Hold on to the beautiful memories, speak often of the good times together, it helps to lessen the pain. Holding your family up in prayer. Big hugs
So sorry for your family’s loss. My deepest sympathy and my prayers for all of you. My mother passed with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. For 10 years before she passed, she did not recognize me. Before she passed, I kissed her and said my name. She said, “I know who you are, I’ve been waiting for you to get here from VA.” (My mother lived with my sister in TX.) She said she was waiting for my youngest brother to arrive from Africa (he works there). I will always cherish the memory of her recognition of me before her passing, and her inquiry of my children. Cherish the memories, for they give comfort and lessen the pain.
I love yo-yos. Thank you for sharing these different applications. Penny 🌝
