The leaves are starting to change, the air is crisp… it’s time to start thinking about Thanksgiving! The holiday comes much sooner for our Canadian friends than for the U.S., but the sentiment is the same. Here are 25 Free Thanksgiving Quilt Patterns and Sewing Projects! You will find some wonderful projects for the season. Some are simple, some are more challenging. I think there’s something here for everyone!
Do you have favorite traditions for this holiday? Mostly, our traditions center around the food! Mom always makes her homemade cranberry relish… Thanksgiving just wouldn’t be the same without it! I always make my Simple Garlic and Butter Green Beans recipe (easy to make ahead!) and Triple Corn Spoon Bread casserole.

We keep the decorations pretty simple- I like to decorate with lots of natural materials from our own back yard. It’s very inexpensive and like the homey, rustic look. Get some ideas in my blog post here.
