Spring is dragging her feet! (It actually snowed here this morning- give me a break!) But a few weeks ago we got a little bit of Spring and Summer when we visited the world famous Philadelphia Flower Show. It always provides some much needed color, cheer and inspiration at this time of year, when you so desperately want it to be Spring but really have at least a month until the nice weather starts. The theme this year was Disney movies. A few of my favorite displays:
Winnie the Pooh
Ratatouille
Cars
The Parent Trap
Cottage inspired by the Irish film industry
Lovely Spring bulb display
Cool planter idea- an old filing cabinet
A few things to remember:
Today is the last day to get the Peaceful Pastimes quilt kit for $15 off. This includes the pattern, so it’s an excellent price. Also, there are a variety of backing fabric kits to choose from, and if you purchase a quilt kit the shipping on the backing is FREE.
There’s still time to send in photos of your Block of the Month project for a chance to win a $100 fabric kit and other great prizes. Details here. I’ve been getting photos of many beautiful and creative projects- keep them coming!
The emagazine will be sent out on Wednesday! Be sure you are signed up so you don’t miss it!
Happy Spring (whenever it shows up)!
What beautiful garden displays, Jacquelynne.
