My favorite gadget is my wool pressing mat as well as the half square square up ruler.
I have so many that I can’t do without and they are all wonderful. But my Bernina is my favorite. Without it I couldn’t sew my quilts.
My favorite is the magnets I have to hold my pins and needles. Or maybe it’s my nippers to clip threads.
My Sure Guide Needle Threader, my eyes have gotten older and it is a quick way to thread my needle
I also have so many gadgets that I use often. I think my favorite is the cutter shaped like a flower that utilizes used rotary cutter blades. Two bangs for one buck – recycle old blades and quick handy little cutter that sits right next to my machine. My husband actually bought this for me a couple of Christmas’s ago. He visited a quilt shop and said absolutely no fabric, but what fun gadgets do you have and this is one that he came home with. Such a great guy!!
My rotary cutter is a huge help, but I love my turning small cutting mat too.
My homemade ironing board/pad. I love it. It is just the right size to fit on my countertop over my double sink.
I probably use my seam ripper the most.
I love the needle threader and scissors on my new machine!
My favorite gadget is my 1/4 inch ruler.
My favorite I would have to say is my rotary cutter! When I started quilting years ago, we traced patterns with cardboard templates onto the fabric. Cutting with a scissors made my hand tired & it just wasn’t all that accurate!
My needle, and my peace of mind! I love all my tools!
rulers are a must!!!
My little clips and a small scissors that I can keep by my sewing machine. it seems that you can’t have enough small scissors.
I love my wing clipper ruler for flying geese. My corners get wonky
I really like my Kwik Klip when pinning/unpinning my quilt for home machine quilting.
I love my small wooden iron that creases the seams good and
my small scissors that the tips are bent to get all the threads
left.
I love my thread cutting necklace. I have been travelling with a hand-pieced project and it allows me to sew on flights without needing to carry scissors.
My favorite would be the little thread catcher that hangs beside my sewing machine.
My favorite tool (besides my rotary cutter) is my Square Up ruler by Quilt in a Day. My piecing is so much better since I started using this ruler. I am really enjoying this quilt-a-long. Thank you!
My walking foot is my favorite. I can’t get along without it.
My favorite tools are y rulers and the rotary cutters.
I love my clips, wood handled seam ripper and small scissors! Can’t forget my chalk. They all play and important role in my sewing.
It has to be a rotary cutter. I’ve used scissors before for a garment pattern and I was SOO slow. Give me a rotary cutter and I can zoom.
I love my ruler that doesn’t slip.

Unfortunately it’s my seamripper! I don’t know what I would do without it.
I love my wool pressing mat and wonder clips.
Like many writing on this blog, the seam ripper is the unsung hero in the sewing room. Whether it’s taking out basting stitches or removing some opportunities for improvement, it’s there to use to keep us on course to finish a project.
I love my ergonomic True cut rotary cutter, my 1/4” foot with a lip, clips, Quilters Select rulers! What a difference in cutting, sewing a strait line!
I love the square up ruler, Eleanor Burns, so easy and percise
Not sure if these can be considered a gadget but I always need pencils and paper to draw out my patterns. I’m over 18 and live in the USA.
I love to have by my side my stiletto to guide my sewing in my machine.
My rotary cutter and mat. Can’t imagine having to cut with scissors any more!@
My favorite gadgets are my stiletto, wool pressing mat, and friction pens.
My “roller” sewing foot for my machine. It really works well to feed the layered material.
My walking foot. It really goes over those extra thick seams and points.
Gadgets are my favorite!! You can never go wrong if you have a great gadget!! I have many gadgets, electric, battery and handheld items, yet my favorite will always be my scissors. Regardless of the brand, I have a scissor within reach at all times. One is even close to me as I type this!! Ha! Ha! Thanks for the opportunity to enter this contest.
