We have just released the pattern for May for the Small and Sweet Mini Quilt Club. It’s called Chirp! I made mine in Christmas fabrics:
Here it is made in other fabrics- as you can see, it’s totally cute no matter what palette you choose….
The pattern also has options for just piecing, which is a great option if you want a really fast project! Look how gorgeous these are- what great way to feature some pretty floral fabrics:
For the little bird, you can embroider the eyes, or use small buttons or seed beads. I asked everyone’s opinion in a recent Facebook post. Which eyes do you like better- A with the small buttons, or B with the French knots??
So now I know you are asking- How can I get this totally adorable pattern??? It’s easy! My friend Michele and I are running the Small and Sweet Mini Quilt Club together, and you can join here and get the all the patterns and save $$$$$.
OR, you can buy just the individual Chirp pattern here.
We have now released 5 of the 6 Mini Quilt Patterns! I am working on the final one now, and it is really really cute! Here are all of the patterns so far:
Since this mini BoM is ending in June, will there be another one Mini BOM coming out soon?
I also received the e-mail for the Maggie’s Free BOM for but there was no attachment to download the pattern?
Hi Janelynne- I don’t have any more Mini Clubs planned for this year.
Not sure what Michele has planned for the rest of the year- I would just keep checking her site https://aimingforaccuracy.com/
The BOM has not started yet- the patterns will be sent by email starting on June 6, 2016.
have made mine but like the others I am doing embroidery in the squares which will be done when all are completed. Saturday I finally completed my cozy afternoon quilt and reasonably pleased with it.
Haven’t received an email with the Chirp block and I am a paid member of the mini quilt club. When can I expect it? Thanks …
Hi Rosemary- the email went out Saturday evening. But you shouldn’t need it, if you log into your account over at The Quilting Gallery/Aiming for Accuracy website, the pattern should be there in your account. If you have technical problems, please contact Michele and she can help you quilting.gallery@gmail.com
Dear Jacquelynne, I find your designs so sweet and I can use fabric from my stash or scraps from other sources, I must do that because I’m a pensioner. That’s the down side and the upside is I can sew and quilt as much as my little old heart can take. I do find inspiration everywhere and you are a big inspiration. Thanks for being so creative. Regards Judy Wheldon
Hi…I am new here, I just ran across your site looking for some beginners pot holders to make n found your cute mini quilts. They are adorable n thought it might be better to tackle a small project first. My mom was a beautiful craftsman in almost anything she saw n I’ve inheritated a few of her talents . Since she has passed I no longer have her guidance so I’m looking forward to trying something small to begin with. She has left me with some of her material n quilt blocks she had made so I’m excited to use them in her memory. What a good job u have done here. Tysm for sharing?
