************************************************************************************************

For the last couple of days, I’ve been telling you about some of the features and content for The Art of Home Club, and today I’m showing you even more! I know that this is my 3rd post about it- but there’s just so much great stuff I want to share with you!

YOU CAN JOIN THE CLUB FROM JANUARY 10 THROUGH JANUARY 14!

AFTER THE 14TH, ENROLLMENT WILL BE CLOSED AGAIN UNTIL SUMMER.

In addition to all the stuff I’ve shown you over the last couple of days, here are a few more things you will find on the exclusive Club website:

Getting Started with Hand Embroidery Resource Page

Hand embroidery is hot hot hot right now! Nothing beats a relaxing and portable hand sewing project that you can do while watching TV, riding in the car, or waiting for appointments. Not only is it more relaxing than playing on your phone during those odd bits of time, it’s also much more productive! Five minutes here, 10 minutes there… pretty soon you’ve got a pretty embroidered motif that you can use in a quilt, on a table runner or tote bag, a potholder, a wall hanging….

The Club has a special page dedicated to getting started with hand embroidery- so whether you’re a total newbie with no idea where to start, or if you have some experience and you’re just looking for some extra tips, this is the perfect place to start! Everything you need is on one page, making it so easy and convenient to get started. On this page, you will find:

  • –A downloadable PDF of 3 basic embroidery stitch diagrams that you can print out and keep with your stitching for quick reference
  • –A downloadable PDF supply list that you can print out and take to the shop with you to pick up supplies and materials
  • –Three bonus mini embroidery patterns to get started practicing the basic stitches
  • –Five easy to follow video tutorials:
    • Suggested Supplies
    • How to transfer your embroidery designs to fabric
    • Basic Stitches- Backstitch, French Knot, Satin Stitch
    • Basic Stitch- Running Stitch
    • How to start and finish off your embroidery stitches

Exclusive Members Only Message Boards

We will also talk about fun “no-sew” ways to use the patterns

Here are a couple of videos showing how to use colored pencils and watercolor pencils with the coloring sheets included every month:
