Art of Home Club emails are an absolute joy to me. They are helping me to get through just because they are like old friends dropping by for a chat, and making things seem OK. Thank you so much.
I just recently signed up and I am so happy with your sight. I can’t wait to get started
Have you had success with a Frixion pen for this application?
Yes, I used one for the first time a couple of weeks ago. After I completed the embroidery I pressed it with a hot iron the the ink disappeared.
I appreciated your comments today about being thankful for the ordinary everyday things. Each day has its joy and blessings. Thank you for your willingness to share.
These past few weeks, I have NOT gotten a call to substitute. I am a retired teacher and subbed. for fun and the cash was helpful. Boy, have I realized what I have been missing in the ordinary. My “chores” have proved to be a blessing, not the drudgery after a full day of work. I will completely stay home and find more joy in doing what I always wanted to do and that is my sewing, gardening and falling in love again with the man I married 46 years ago. Thanks for sharing it’s OK to be ordinary!!!!!
Do you always preshrink your fabric before cutting? Or doing embroidery?
Looking forward to the Art of Home opens!
