Free Summer Rose Embroidery Pattern

Do you have any special memories associated with roses? They are probably the world’s most popular flower! For me, they always take me back to my grandmother’s garden, I can still smell the fragrance and hear the bees buzzing! You can reduce or enlarge this to any size you want for any project- it would be great on any type of home decor or kitchen item, such as a wall hanging, pot holder, dish towel, etc. It will give a pretty vintage look to napkins and table cloths, too. (Hand embroidery pattern only, this pattern not available for machine embroidery.) You could also use it for coloring and make note cards, etc.

Click here for the pattern PDF.

Did you know that I have lots of embroidery videos to help you get started with hand embroidery? Yep, I do! If you are a complete beginner, I’ll show you everything you need to know, from supplies to basic stitches, to help you get started. And even if you have experience with embroidery, you may pick up a few new tips! Videos are right below!

(But keep reading for a special announcement!)

Very soon, we will be opening up The Art of Home Club to new members! What is The Art of Home Club? The Art of Home Club is an exclusive “neighborhood” for friends who want additional monthly projects and patterns from The Art of Home.  You will have access to members only videos and other content, plus new patterns and projects as they are released every month.

Click here to get on our “waiting list” and be the first to find out when we open up to new members! You will want to be on this special waiting list, because I’ll be offering special “bonuses” on the first day we open, and I don’t want you to miss out.

Below are some of our previous projects. Soon I will be showing you the adorable projects that our members will be working on in the next few months- we’d love to have you sew and create along with us!

I hope you practice what you preach! LoL Thanks for the rose pattern. I too have memories of my grandparents’ rose garden. My guess is Grandad did the work and Granny appreciated it! The smell and the colours! Wish we could embroider in the perfumes!

I can’t wait to get started on the strawberry designs! I have recently moved into my mother-in- law’s home and her kitchen is all berries. I Need some of my own berry embellishments!

I just watched videos. When I use fusible interfacing, I have to draw picture after fusing as I use fuxion pens which disappear with heat. I found out the hard way!! Love the embroideries which I do at night while watching tv.
