Wow! I can’t believe we have finally come to the end of our Mini Club! It doesn’t seem like 7 long months ago that my friend Michele and I got together and said, “Hey! Let’s do a quilt club together!!” But here we are! I have really enjoyed designing and making these patterns. I am not the fastest sew-er, so these little projects were easy for me to accomplish, lol. They are each only 26″ big- I love using them as table toppers or putting them on the back of a sofa or chair. What’s your favorite way to use a mini quilt??
Today we are releasing the final pattern, called Home in My Heart:
I love the sentiment of home…. where ever you are most comfortable, where ever you have “people,” that is where your heart is and that is home.
This pattern, like all of the other mini patterns, features an applique design, but it also has a non-applique option as well, so if you just want a quick project to piece, you can do that too.
All of the patterns also come with a coloring sheet, so you can play with different color combinations (or just make copies for the kids to color for summer fun!!) And, the pattern has several ideas for fabric options, to give you inspiration and ideas. Which of these is your favorite?? So many looks from the same pattern!

Brights

Traditional

Farmhouse

Blues
You can join the club over here on Michele’s website and get ALL of the mini patterns, plus a FREE machine applique tutorial, for one low price. You can also buy the individual Home in My Heart pattern here on my website.
Here are ALL the mini quilts that we made in the club:
I’ve had so much fun making these quilts with you! Please post your photos over in my brand new Facebook group! I’d love to see what you are making!
Great post! Thank you so much for sharing!
I’ve only done 3 tops, working on the 4th. So behind but I did download them and plan on completing them. Lots of fun; I’m learning so much. Just life getting in the way of my quilting right now. Plan on keeping in touch to see whatever you do next. Thanks so much for your sweet quilt designs. Didn’t think I’d be doing these, my children and grandkids are mostly grown, but find I’m having so much fun and really fell in love with the designs.
Hi Sarah! We all have projects on the “to-do” list!!
Thanks to you and Michele for sharing this project. These mini’s are cute and just fun to make. I like them hanging in my sewing room, they are my artwork:). I can hardly wait to see what project you come up with next.
Mini quilts make GREAT artwork, Mariann!!
downloaded and the fabrics picked thanks for this latest BOM making mine with calico/muslin centres on each block like the previous 5 and when this is made in the next couple of days will then have to decide what to do on the calico as plan to embroider in every one as the applique technique still not learnt, I know it is about time I did!!
I used just one color of floss to embroidery my BOM blocks and it went much quicker than I thought it would!
Will you be doing another mini quilt club? I love small projects but missed out on this one.
Not exactly sure about upcoming clubs yet, Judy. Please be sure you are on my mailing list and you’ll find out when we start something new!
