First of all, I’d like to thank you for the incredible response we had to the survey I sent out the other day! Wow! You guys had so many great ideas, and the feedback you gave will really help me with this new product I’m developing! I’ve got lots of ideas brewing! There’s still time to give us your opinions and ideas, just click here.

What a great time we had at Sew Along Day this past Saturday! We gave away lots of fun prizes, and people told me that they got a lot of sewing done- Yippee! We even had a “dance break” at the end! If you weren’t able to make it, click here to see what you missed!

Some people worked on the Maggie’s First Dance Block of the Month, and some participated in a virtual Million Pillowcase sew along! I think LOTS of pillowcases got made on Saturday! Jan wrote to tell me, We had a great turn out of about 12 ladies and we hit the ground hard and in 3 hours turned out 51 Pillowcases! We prayed over the finished products and ask the recipients to be Blessed for all they are going thru! We should have them delivered by Friday to Atlanta Sewing center!!” Isn’t that great?

If you missed the pillowcase pattern, click here for the PDF. (Remember, the applique pattern is part of the Maggie’s First Dance Block of the Month.)

You may remember that I did a free block pattern for Aurifil back in June (one with embroidery, and another version without):

Here is the latest block for the Aurifil Designer of the Month program, this one by Angela Walters- the theme is Blue & White:

And of course, you don’t have to do them in blue and white! Here is Pat Sloan’s version of the block:

Later this week I will be giving you more information about the new product that we’ve been doing the survey for! Stay tuned!
