Oh my goodness…. so much goodness in my home and studio this week!
Our visitors from England are still here, for just a short time longer. My husband’s cousin, her husband, and 6 and 8 year old daughters have been here with us for almost 2 weeks now. We have really enjoyed having little girls in the house again! We’ve been doing lots of day trips and big family dinners, and of course Easter day was busy and bustling and fun. Remember those “Frozen” quilts I was working on? The girls really loved them (as you can see, we’ve set them up in my fabric/photography room):
There were trips to the Amish country in Lancaster, PA, a trip to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Baltimore Aquarium, New York City, and Cape May, NJ. They managed to squeeze a lot into their trip. (Most importantly, a trip to the Disney store for “Frozen” princess dresses!)
Of course, we had to introduce everyone to a big All-American “diner” breakfast:
And burgers at Red Robin:
I have managed to get just a little bit of work done in the last couple of weeks! Working on a redwork embroidery project:
Got one of my new Block of the Month samples back from the quilter. Now have to put the binding on (do I have the cutest “quilt models” or what??):
And of course, I somehow managed to get the emagazine out last week (that was truly a miracle!!):
Hope you are having a wonderful day!
Looks like you are having tons of fun!. It is always fun to have vistors and take them around to all your favorite places to go. The e-magazine was great as usual. It is always fun to read and the Pat Sloan interview was quite interesting.
I signed up for the e-magazine, saw a preview, now I can’t find it in my folders! is there a way to view issues from your web site? Thank you for a wonderful site!
HI Roberta- just sent you an email. Jacquelynne
