I love to use fat quarters because you can choose many different fabrics for a number of different blocks. The outcome is always a surprise. Thanks Jo
These are so happy and pretty
I have used charm packs the most for quick a day easy mug rugs. I was given a few cake layers for mothers day and trying to decide how best to use the 10″ cake layer, I have never used them.
I have used jelly roll, and just finished a quilt using charm packs, I have two layer cakes that I am deciding which quilt pattern to make with them.

I use all precuts and yardage and scraps!!
Just a beginner, using yardage.
I have used all of the types of precuts, but prefer fat eighths and fat quarters. However I have just made 5 quilts for my grandchildren with jellyrolls.
I use my stash fabric scraps that I have had for years for small applique and quilting projects.
I mostly use fat quarters when I use precuts. I find them to be the most versatile
Like my “sewing mom” I use jelly rolls and charm packs. I still consider myself a beginner, so I find these easier to use, instead of messing up cuts. I am excited for summer, as I will have time to get to my sewing room and focus!
My go to precuts are the 5” charm packs and fat quarters bundles.
My favorite pre cut is the jelly roll, followed by charm squares.
I probably use more fat quarters and jelly rolls. I love the aurafil. I’m starting to get back into machine embroidery I would like to try that thread.

Hi, I don’t have experience using precuts so it’d be great to win these. I usually cut my own pieces as I need them. Good luck everyone 🧵🪡😉❤️
Fat quarters are my favorite because they are so versatile and a great way to get a variety of colors, but jelly rolls make quick work of certain projects – and there are so many patterns that use jelly rolls the possibilities seem endless. These are the only 2 types of precuts I really use, probably just because I don’t have much experience with other sizes/shapes.
I’m using charms and fat quarters currently! Love the ease of the precuts!
How do I sign up for the prizes
Love Riley Blake fabrics

I am so behind on the block of the first month’s block. I haven’t even been able to cut fabric yet. My sewing fabrics are so cute so I will catch up as recovery from some unplanned surgery moves forward.
I use fat quarter bundles for my quilts, although I have many MANY scraps so am trying the mini scraps method, slow but fun.
I am really enjoying this BOM! Thank you for putting this design together.
I use a lot of different precuts, from fat quarters, jelly rolls, honey buns, layer cakes, charms packs. Precuts give you a variety of fabrics that coordinate, making some projects easier to tackle.

I like to work with the jelly rolls. Cut at 2 1/2 inches they are great to use for borders around panels. I also use them to make the needed 2 1/2 inch squares to put together 9 patch 6 inch squares and 16 patch 8 inch squares. I also use fat quarters, layer cakes and by the yard material. Hi, I love this Sew Happy design! I’ve already made the 1st block but not happy with the fabrics I chose. There are too many busy fabrics and I am going to do another one with more solid colors. I’ve sewn with a variety of fabric cuts; fat quarters, stackers/layer cakes, rolie polie/jelly roll, charm squares and yardage. I love your kits and patterns. They are so well written and give such
good directions, one could never fail. I love using fat quarters, jelly
rolls and yardage. I have made several of your projects and find them
very satisfying to work on and love the ned products.
I love and have many of the BOM’s and I so enjoy being a club member. I like working with fat quarters and layer cakes as they provide a lot of variety in my sewing and quilting. I found your site just before the start of the pandemic and my love for embroidery was rekindled as well.
Thank you for this opportunity. Blessings to you and the Art of Home Community.
stef.rhauke@gmail.com
I’ve never used charm squares, jelly rolls, or precuts. I have used fat quarters because I have a million of them that I bought for doll clothes. I’m afraid to invest my money into them because I have no idea of how many I’d need and how to mix them with what blocks I would be doing. Wouldn’t mind trying though.
I love using all precuts. Depends on the pattern and design. I use Aurifil for all my piecing and I like all the fabric by Riley Blake. Really excited to start working on this quilt.
I usually use charm squares or fat quarters when quilting. I love the BOM pattern and really appreciate getting the cutting instructions for all the blocks at once.
I am very, very much a beginner. I’ve done a couple of small pillow size paper-piecing projects using fat quarters. I moved shortly after joining a quilting group and have yet to find another in my new location. Like the rest of you, I love fabric and bought some with no real plan in mind. Have we all done that? I have lots of supplies from my mom but have had issues with time lately. I am looking forward to getting on this first BOM asap!
I have mostly sewn with fat quarters but I have a lot of jelly rolls for pre cuts. I’m looking forward to retirement so I can sit and sew. Thanks so much!!
I usually always use fat quarters or yardage for bigger projects. My next project I will use my very first jelly roll!
I have done several projects with Riley Blake fabrics and I love that line!!!! More is always better!!!
Thanks Jacquelynne for giving us the chance to win this beautiful fabric and the thread 🧵 is such a beautiful springy color!!
Srlallier77@gmail.com
I mainly do small quilting projects with fat quarters.
Love your Block of the Month patterns. I tend to use charm squares, jelly roll, fat quarters and yardage for my projects. The Aurifil and Riley Blake give always look amazing.
I love your Block of the Month patterns! I like to use charm squares, jelly rolls, fat quarters and occasionally layer cakes along with yardage when I quilt and sew. Both the Riley Blake and aurifil give aways look wonderful. I would be thrilled with either one.
I use them all,two and a half strips, twelve inch squares, six inch squares, fat quarters and so on.
I love your sweet blocks and hand embroideries. I use fat quarters, charm packs and layer cakes mostly in my quilting. I would love to try a jelly roll.
I usually include yellow in most of my quilts as I do charity quilts a lot for children.
This Block f the month is so cute! I love your patterns and they have wonderful instructions! I use fat quarters, layer cake, jelly rolls to help out with my yardage! Your prizes would be fantastic to win!

I seem to collect a lot of charm packs and actually plan on using some soon!
I’ve been using jelly rolls lately for projects. I enjoy how the projects turn out with the fabrics
I used precut fat quaters and layer cakes but I also have accumulated lots of stash fabric as well. I am currently working on baby blankets, bibs, and burp clothes.
Teresamejstrik@gmail.com
I also love the Sew happy Block of Month, I’m ready to do the next one! I also like sewing with Fat Quaters and yardages.
Such beautiful products. So many great things could be made with them. I have used layer cakes, charm packs, jelly rolls and rollie pollies in the past to make lap quilts for the local VA hospital. My layer cake quilt was also given to a Vet on a special cruise.
Love all pre cuts. Jelly rolls are my fave. Corpitoes@gmail.com
I use jelly rolls, charm packs and layer cake pre cuts just to give me variety of colors and textures.
I Love the Sew Happy Block of the Month and working on it now. You always have fun projects to do. I have only used fat quarters and yardage. It would be fun to try a jelly roll or any other precut. It looks like a time saver in cutting fabric. Do the precuts come with a pattern?
Dumas31@msn.com
I mostly use the precut fat quarters. I love to use mini charms also, I have all of them.
I use jelly rolls the most. Love charm squares.
I love making your blocks of the month. I made the fairy quilt for my grand daughter for Christmas. Started the Easter bunny quilt with goal finishing next Easter
I use a lot of fat quarters, but I find fat halves give me more options for patterns, etc.
I love fat quarters and jelly rolls. Can get most every cut from those.
I love fat quarters! I would like to make something with a jelly role. I could be considered a rebel as sometimes I do not always follow the directions or pattern.
I LOVE TO USE PRECUTS. I use fat quarters, layer cakes, jelly rolls, and charm squares. I love them because they make it so much easier. I am anxious to begin the block of the month quilt. My fabric is to arrive today. I can’t wait to see it.
pmcknight12@gmail.com
Jelly Rolls are my favorite precuts, lots less cutting@
I like to use charm packs and 2 1/2 inch strips.
I love to use fat quarter precuts the best…. although I have and use all the others too. I love having all the coordinated fabrics in a line to use.
Mostly I use yardage and charm packs! I LOVE ❤️ Riley Blake fabrics and Arifil threads!
I use all sizes of precuts! I love to sew but cutting not so much. My Mom felt the same way. We would arrange Friday night “cut” gatherings. We would each bring our latest project and help each other cut. Great memories
I use layer cakes if I can get them on sale. I usually make my own Rollie Pollies 2 1/2” strips. I do love Riley Blake fabric, because it’s down to earth.
Thank you❤️
I definitely use fat quarters most of all the precuts. They are the most versatile. I think these blocks are going to be fun to make, and I am making mine in cheery fabrics.
I like to use fat quarters, jelly rolls, and layer cakes in my projects because they coordinate so well and can be used with other blender fabrics.
Good morning. I usually buy fat quarter bundle of collections I like, especially if I don’t have a specific pattern in mind.
The first block of the current BOM is fun. And your instructions are very clear and easy to follow.
pammiep@comcast.net
I love fat quarters, especially coordinating sets. Love Jacquelynne’s patterns!
I love all precuts! I especially love jelly rolls
I normally sew with fat quarters and jelly rolls. I LOVE the Yellow, it reminds me of Spring time. I have twin great granddaughters and I always have a project to sew for them. I recently “created” a sewing room and the BOM will be a perfect fit in the room.
I just started quilting a year and a half ago. During that time, I’ve used both charm packs and layer cakes. It’s a fun (and challenging) new hobby. Thanks for your beautiful projects.
Hi, I use fat quarters and layer cakes. I love Aurifil thread ever since you introduced me to it. Thank you for that and all you inspiration!
What a fun and pretty Sew Happy block of the month! I have used fat quarters.
I love fat quarter and 10 inch layer cakes. I also love the machine embroidery. Thank you so much for doing this block of the month.
I am enjoying this BOM challenge. I have used all types of fabric cuts. No favorites just love sewing and creating.
Pre-cuts are so much easier to work with and I don’t tend to make as many cutting errors. But I love fat quarters, especially the bundles because I don’t have to coordinate the fabrics myself. Yes, I am a lazy quilter.
I sew with fat quarters, jelly rolls, charm packs, and/or yardage from my stash. I prefer fat quarters, as they are usually more versatile in use.
I’m about to begin cutting my fabric for block 1…WooHoo!
Hello Jacqueline and staff! Happy Monday to you. I love sewing with all precuts. My favorite are layer cakes and charm squares but I also occasionally use the jelly trolls and minis. I love kits and things made with yardage as well. Guess I just have to say I love fabric in general. Thank you all for the work you do for us and like to thank the members too! All of you for sharing your creative talents. You inspire me!
I tend to buy more layer cakes and fat quarters but have used all the precuts at times :)
Thanks for the sunshine and fun added to the day.
I use any assortment of precuts. Fat quarters, layer cakes, charms. Makes everything so much easier.
My favorite to use is yardage, second fat quarters, but I also am l earning to use jelly rolls, charm squares and layer cakes.
I love all precuts! I use fat quarters, layer cakes and jelly tools the most but can’t resist charm packs and candy packs either.
I use all of them. I like the variety. Whichever one I choose it’s all about the fabric collection.
I love your web site. I really like how you keep in touch with us letting us know what is new and upcoming. I especially like your kits, clear and precise along with your applique patterns.
I just love your site. Makes me happy!
I use all kinds of precut, and cut up my yardage scraps into precut sizes for storage, and then use them! I am currently making blocks using both jelly roll strips and charm squares.
I have really only used charm squares for Pocket Prayers. I do have stash of others. My retirement is beginning finally, and I look forward to experimenting!
I love this give away. I like to use jelly rolls and fat quarters
I love using precuts. I mostly use fat quarters, layer cakes and charms. I have dresser drawers filled with fat quarters. I need to get busy.
I am loving all of your projects. The Fairy Garden and now the BOM. I wish I had more time so I could be making them as fast as you share them. I am really a fat quarter girl but keep looking at Jelly rolls and charm packs wondering what kind of fun I could have. Currently I have half my living room and one whole closet filled with my sewing obsession, but I still think more is needed so please keep the sharing coming.
I use fat quarters, charm packs, and layer cakes quite often. I think I collect jelly rolls more than use them. (That might be true for most of the fabric I buy. It’s so pretty, or unusual, or . . .)
I love using fat quarters as they give a lot of flexibility. Fat quarter bundles provide me with colors and prints that will blend with out a lot of fuss.
I really love all precuts. When I am trying to make up fast quilts they are my go too. I am retiring at the end of June and my grand daughter wants to learn how to quilt. So we will be using jelly roll or charm packs for her first quilt. She really is excited to learn. I really love this group and I made mug rugs from you patterns this year for Christmas using my scraps and love all the new ideas you have for us to use them in the future! Can’t wait till next year when I can do the mug rugs swap.
I love charm squares and layer cakes. They are quick and easy! I just got all my fabric for this BOM and I’m planning to start it today!
I love the block of the month. My points don’t match but I’m okay with that. I even watched Jacquelyn’s video again about squaring up blocks. 😦. It didn’t help. It’s just me. Her instructions are easy to follow and use. I usually use precuts unless I order from Jacquelyn.
I love fat quarter bundles. I usually have enough for several projects with coordinating fabrics.
I use a variety of precuts but especially jelly rolls.
I like working with fat quarters the most and also cut my scraps into different shapes to be used later. Sometimes all I need is a small piece. I love your emails and look forward to receiving them. Thank you for sharing your joy as well as your talent!!
I mostly have Jellyrolls and layer cakes but I use others at times. I love your patterns. Thank you
I MOSTLY USE FAT QUARTERS.
I am making the Sew Happy block of the month with materials I bought from the shop in the big grab bag. It is a special bonus that they were designed by Jacquelynne. I primarily use fat quarters!
I use Fat Quarters and I have used 5” squares. I would love to try Jelly Rolls but have not yet.
I love to use fat quarters – they go such a long way and are mostly co-ordinated. Thank you for the chance to win.

I prefer jelly rolls the most and I love bright colors in all I do!!!
mycatjj@hotmail.com
Love this, so cute
I love to sew with fat quarters, jelly rolls, and layer cakes! These precut fabrics make my quilting go so much faster. Sometimes it takes me hours to pick out the right fabrics but by using these precut fabrics they are already coordinated and all I have to do is start sewing! Thanks for giving me a chance to win.
I love fat quarters the most, but have made a couple of really cute projects with jelly rolls. Honestly, would love to work with any pre-cut! :)
I love charm squares and fat quarters.
I enjoy collecting and using fat quarters, mostly because of the convenience and color variety. I also like to use jelly rolls when I can. I love all the kits, fabrics, and patterns you offer!
I do use fat quarters, charms, layer cakes and scrap bundles for my projects. I like a variety of colors and designs.
I love all of your projects and have made a few so far.
I love yo use a combination of 5” squares and 2 1/2” strips
Hi! I love sewing with Jelly Rolls, Fat Quarters, and Layer Cakes. I love that they are coordinating fabrics! To tell the truth I just LOVE all fabric! This is such fun!
I love to use fat quarters and fat quarter bundles that have all material that go together. Otherwise I just have been using yardage. Would like to try other options!! Lets be creative!!
I have used flat quarter and layer cakes, would love to try something else
I love to use fat quarters, jelly rolls & yardage. I’m excited to start the BOM this week and looking forward to next months block.
All your kits I have ordered love the fabric and ease of instructions.
You have hooked on trying new quilt ideas.
Thank you
I like to sew with fat quarter and 10 inch layer cake sets. There are so many cute patterns to choose from and the color matching is done for you :) . I would never think to combine some of the colors , so I love than it’s done for me.
I use a lot of jelly rolls, charm packs and layer cakes and occasionally fat quarters. I received my Butterfly Fields kit Friday and sewed it up this weekend! I love it! I’ll hang it on my front door the day after Memorial Day! Love it!!!
I love the creativity that you inspire in me. I will be making the wall hanging for my quilt studio. Your work is so happy your blog brings a smile every time. I use all of the precuts from time to time. I favor fat quarters as most of my work is applique.
I have not sewn with any fabric other than by the yard, but am looking forward to trying fat quarters or rollie pollies. They seem pretty handy when making a smaller project.
I like to use fat quarters and 10 inch stackers precuts because of the variety of the whole fabric collection. Thanks for the Art of Home Club!
I use the fat quarters and the precuts. I started my quilting journey last year and I love it. After a long day at work or just a hectic day in general quilting is my “nerve pill”. I go to may happy place and nothing bothers me.
What a wonderful prize!!! I love using fat quarters when I can, but I do use a lot of yardages as well. I am starting to use more jelly rolls and getting creative with them. Love using any fabrics that are available, I make lap quilts for local nursing homes and elderly that are home bound. Thank you for the opportunity to enter the giveaway!!
I LOVE precuts!!! Fat quarters, layer cakes, charm squares and Jelly rolls. I have lots of patterns for each of them. Love Riley Blake and Aurifil too! I tend to use layer cakes and jelly rolls mostly though.
I use all precuts. Ea h gives me a variety of projects to complete. Thanks for the opportunities to win such cute fabric.
I use fat quarters because it’s so hard not to buy the really cute ones!
I use fat quarters, charms, strips, layer cakes. Sew many to choose from. Sometimes easier on the budget. Sew many patterns to choose from
FAT quarters are my favorites as I do a lot of machine applique. When fat quarters go on sale, I stock up!
I simply enjoy sewing with fat quarters for the variety of fabric designs without breaking the bank. IMO these purchases are always a good investment! One never has too many fat quarters 😀.
Always surprised each month at the projects that you have ready for us. Bold beautiful colors and ideas. Something for everyone. Thank you again for letting me join.
I use all pre-cuts! Just finished a King size quilt from assorted 10” squares. Use jelly rolls for all binding and 5” squares for everything! I hoard fat quarters! Thank you!
I love this BOM. I like using all types of pre-cut fabrics. It is easier to cut my blocks from them. Also, I like yo buy the fabric kits that Jacqueline supply.
I love using fat quarter bundles, jelly rolls ,charm packs and yardage because everything coordinates. Thank you for doing the giveaway.
I have used fat quarter bundles, jelly rolls, layer cakes, charm pack and mini charm packs with additional yardage. I really like using the layer cakes as they offer so many more cutting options. Sometimes the charm packs come with a miscut piece and I can’t use it. That is frustrating to me. Thank you Jacquelynne for the offering the BOM and sew alongs. The giveaway is a nice perk!
I bought the kit for this quilt. Love the fabrics. I have jelly rolls, charm packs, fat quarters and some yardage. Love this club, and all the projects. Never won anything on my life. Maybe will be lucky this time
I love using fat quarters and scraps for projects. I would like to learn how to use a jelly roll. Thanks for your beautiful designs
I like the fun and freedom of the charms packs. If you have some of the “nickel quilt” books, you can make a great variety of quilts and projects. They’re also great for charity quilts and work up quick and easy. I often include some fabric from my stash to help to blend and give continuity to the quilt.
Fat quarters, charm packs and jelly rolls are my favorites. The May collection is ideal for making Christmas gifts and birthday gifts.
Love this block Can’t wait till I can make it. I love Layer cakes and Fat quarters.
I usually buy fat quarters or by the yard!
I am very new to quilting. I have only just used scraps and fat quarters and lots of deco buttons. I have a couple in progress but none finished yet. I only have a sewing machine. I don’t own a long arm machine yet. As of now I’ll just probably go to the local quilting shop and use theirs.
Just found your website and want to try the BOM. Lucky enough to catch the first block. I use lots of different precut bundles. My favorite feature is that a variety of matching fabrics are in the bundles.
I like charm packs for my small embroidery work when I’m adding appliqué pieces. I like the 10” squares for small quilt projects.
I use layer cakes, strips, charm squares. Fat quarters.
I have been using more of my stash.
I love jelly rolls. The bakery kind are good too!!!!! My favorite designers are Vanessa, Lori, Corey. Thank you for all you do for us. Have a great summer.
I love the bright colors.
I love my finished first block. I use charms, layer cakes, jelly rolls and their resulting scraps to turn out a lot of quilts.
loissnelson@yahoo.com
I tend to be a jelly roll person. Sooooo many things you can do with a 2 1/2 inch strip. Unfortunately, they seem to multiply faster than they subtract from my stash. :)
detrabraymen@yahoo.com
I love to use precuts for my quilting projects. I mostly use charm packs, layer cakes, and jelly rolls. They help me with fabric coordination within the collection!! Thank you Riley Blake and Aurifil for sponsoring this giveaway!!
Fat quarters are an item I can’t live without!
Jelly rolls, fat quarters and 10” squares are my favorites.
I like using them all. I’m not picky.
I use all kinds of precuts…they are great time savers! I appreciate that I don’t have to think about picking the right color or volume! Can’t wait to try the blocks. Thanks! ma.zahn@sbcglobal.net
I use charm packs and fat quarters mostly when it comes to precuts but have used jelly rolls for some projects. I have a honey bun waiting for me to brave the 1.5” strips! Sew excited for this quilt! I was on a shop hop collecting fabrics when this was released and just so happened to be collecting sewing fabrics! Worked out perfectly!
I see with all types of precuts. It certainly makes quilting faster. I have not started my first block. I belong to a sewing group and we are working on a project. It should be done this week
I use all the pre-cuts, but use fat quarters the most. Aurifil thread is one of my favorites. Riley Blake fabric is a large part of my stash. So excited for this sew along.

I use fat quarters mostly but use charm squares for applique. I am loving the yellow in the giveaway…lately my favorite color!
I use all sized precuts. I also cut my own.
I am currently using charm packs. Precuts make life sew sew easy.
I like ALL the precuts — if I haven’t decided what to make yet – but I have the beautiful package on display, that is “home decor” – so it still counts as USING IT, right!?!??!
I’ve been using – SEWING – more layer cakes lately – because I like to see a bigger chunk of the fabric….
-Maria in Tucson
I have just recently begun using precuts, and I appreciate the coordination of fabrics. I’m always worried when I choose from various sources that I won’t be happy with the finished product. I have used several Riley Blake collections to complete lovely quilts.
Hi I like to use jelly rolls, charm squares and fat quarters.
Thanks
I use charm squares, jelly rolls, fat quarters, and layer cakes. I love precuts as I have not fully recovered from 2 broken wrists. I do not have full range of motion so cutting can be frustrating!
I’ve been working with some mini charm packs lately! What fun
I use fat quarters.I have some jelly rolls but haven’t used them. I really like your sight. Helpful and very colorful.

Generally prefer fat quarters.
I love to use jelly rolls the most. They’re so easy to whip up a quick quilt.
I use jelly rolls and layer cakes most of the time.
Such love colors in the give away. I used to only purchased charm packs but have learned to love layer cakes. Its just wonderful no matter what size the precut to have pieces of the fabric in the collection.
I have used all sizes of pre-cut squares. My least favorite were the 2 inch squares. My eyes are to old for much sewing that small. Also like jelly rolls. Love the sew alongs and have done them since 2017.
I use jelly rolls mostly. But have used all types from time to tlme.
I prefer charm packs. I am getting a new Sit down long arm so could use the thread.
I like just about everything as far as precuts. Probably fat quarters a bit more than the others but I love the convenience and variety of precuts.
I have used all precuts, but I really like fat quarters and layer cakes the best. The only thing I don’t like are the pinked edges on the layer cakes.
I love sewing with fat quarters and layer cakes or any fabric
As a beginning quilter, I’ve not sewn with much more than the 10″ squares, the 5″ squares, a few fat quarters, and some fabric from a bolt. There is so many varieties available though. I’ll be excited to explore more as I get better at sewing.
ctopp(at)richhill(dot)k12(dot)mo(dot)us
I use fat quarters for sewing/quilting. Love the giveaways!!
My favorite precut are fat quarters. I love being able to make a nice sized quilt with all coordiated fabrics!
I can no longer make full size quilts but can tablerunners, wall hangings so I find that if I get a fat quarter/or another small piece of cloth it usually is just what I need.
I prefer layer cakes and jelly rolls
I have not started this BOM yet, but I have my material ready to go. Love this pattern and eager to start it soon. I like using charm packs and jelly rolls. I am using Riley Blake’s forest collection.
I am fairly new to quilting (2yrs) even though I have sewn for almost 60! I have used jelly rolls and a few fat quarters. Looking forward to having the chance to try more.
I sew with just about anything! I like scraps for appliqué. I have taught myself how to sew, quilt, fine embroidery, cross stitch, and crochet. Creating different things is my therapy away from teaching n working.
I luv to work with fat quarters
I like fat quarters, jelly rolls and honeybuns.
The only pre-cuts I have used to date are fat quarters, though I have a jelly roll I have not used yet. I tend to get yardage from bolts. But I would love to win some. dtsterling@aol.com

I love quilting with both fat quarters and jelly rolls. The colors are always so pretty! But really like to use what colors inspire me.

I like jelly rolls and layer cakes the best! I try to use patterns without tons of cuts since my hands get sore from all the cutting. And truthfully endless measuring is also a chore at times!
I have never used any precuts before, but I look forward to doing so as cutting long strips of fabric so I can stack and make HSTs is so time consuming and it is hard to keep the long ruler from slipping. SO, this months prize is especially useful as it means the strips are cut. My email is debibaker@yahoo.com
I love layer cakes and fat quarters. Oh heck, I love jelly rolls & charms also. It’s fun to find a pattern that I can use. Would also love to win some thread.
I actually sew with all precuts. I probably use fat quarters the most & just collect the cakes, jelly rolls & charm pack (they are sew cute)

I hope to get started on my block of the month this week and get caught up before the next one comes out. My email is astitchintimebyme@mediacombb.net

I use fat quarters a lot to make Turning Twenty quilts. Easy Peary.
Easy Peasy
My favorite precuts are fat quarter bundles and jelly rolls. I mean it’s hard to choose I like them all !! This sew along is perfect colors I am loving it !!!
Looking at my fabric, I definitely am in love with fat quarters. I like the size, the colors, values, pattern. My problem seems to be that I like them too much to cut into them.
I love to sew with Jelly Rolls! There are so many wonderful pattern options with 2.5″ strips! Thanks for all your creativity!
Hi! My name is Katie, and I am new to your site AND quilting! I absolutely love your patterns and all the info you present! I really enjoy using fat quarters and charm stacks, but I don’t discriminate! If I like it, I use it! Thank you!!!
I have enjoyed your BOM projects and have learned more about appliqué through them. I have also enjoyed the embroidery work! I have used charm packs and fat quarters in various projects.
Cindy Regier
Charm packs give you some of each fabric in the designers line, all coordinated for a relatively low price. I usually purchase an extra 1/2 yard of one of the lighter fabrics from the line to use when I make the project.
I use a lot of fat quarters
What a nice giveaway. My email should be in your system since I have done several of your BOM. I really like them and have talked friends into them as well. I usually find myself getting layer cakes, but those greens would be used for a jr race quilt if I should win. Yellow is my fave color so the thread is beautiful . So exciting.
My favorite precut would be charm squares and jelly rolls. Although I have used the mini squares and layer cakes I. Several things. I am a self taught “newbie” at quilting and find it relaxing for me when I start a project.
I love to use charm packs for precuts. They are my favorite. Good luck everyone
I love all the sew alongs that are offered. I enjoy working with charms and fat quarters because I love the variety of patterns and colors I have to choose from.
I am new to quilting. My 1st piece was a 2 sided king t-shirt quilt for my son. Then I pieced a queen size chevron top from 6 different yards of fabric. Then I made a small quilt with the fabric that was left. I have bought some jelly rolls and charm packs, but haven’t had time yet to use or to start on your bom. I have printed the instructions & plan to in a couple of weeks when things slow down. I am enjoying reading & learning from you & others in my newest hobby.
The precuts that I mostly use are jelly rolls.

suzymarshl@gmail.com
I love your BOM’s. I mostly sew with yardage material, but I also use fat quarters. Love the prizes this time.
I use fat quarters, layer cakes, charm packs, jelly rolls and the little mini charms as I do a lot of sampler quilts and those come in so handy. I am making the Sew Happy BOM and have printed the patterns of your previous quilt alongs when they were running. There are just so many I want to make and not enough time even though I am retired.
I love to use fat quarters. It is easier to determine what colors to make each block when there are more colors.
I like to use charm packs. There are many projects you can do with them and they are so colorful.
I use what ever I have on hand. Some may be precut, some may be scraps from other projects, some come from ???? I just try to find what fits my mood when I choose the project, and pieces may have a varity of sources when I sew.
Mostly have used jelly rolls. Just discovered layer cakes and charm squares. Great patterns to use with those. I’m so excited about this sew along!!! Love the quilt.
I’m not even a year into this new hobby. This is my first sew-a-long. I have acquired a couple of jelly rolls, but have mostly used fat quarters and yardage in the few small projects I have attempted thus far. Thank you for all the tips you share! Completed my first applique with your tutorial a few weeks ago. Super fun stuff!
I love precuts and have used all the sizes! They are so handy when making small projects but I have also used them to make bed quilts too!
I am just learning to quilt and thought a block of the month would give me something challenging to try with lots of instruction and support! I love this sewing theme because I am decorating my sewing room and this will look awesome above my sewing machine. I am thrilled to be part of this group!
I have used jelly rolls and layer cakes. Would love to have the thread. I have atopreadytoquiltthatcoulduse the yellow. Thank you.
I use fat quarters but typically just use yardage.
I collect mini charm packs even though I do not much with them. Others depend on the pattern.
I do a lot of projects using charm squares or jelly rolls. I like to combine them when possible with layer cakes or fat quarters. I especially love doing scrappy lap quilts, table runners or table toppers so they work perfectly without my wasting material.
I quilt with yardage, layer cakes, jelly rolls, charm packs, and/or fat quarters – depending on the pattern I am using and sometimes what I have in my stash.
I enjoy BOMs as there is always something new to learn from others.
I love to collect and occasionally use layer cakes and fat quarter collections. I enjoy embellishing with either hand work or machine embroidery-mostly smaller projects but just finished serger quilt as you go project! I would love either of the prizes and know I could find a spot for them!
I love layer cakes and charm squares. It saves me from cutting fabric.
I love the block of the month. I love sewing with layer cakes and yardage. Fat quarters are also nice to have a variety of prints to choose from.

Layer cakes.
hi – if fabric is involved I will find a way to sew with it – I have used all kinds of precuts. Love fat quarters.
I like jelly rolls and fat quarters. I bought the kit for this quilt. I do really like yardage, but I tend to over buy.
I mostly use fat quarters but I do have a few charm packs that I’m going to use for a gift for my SIL. l love this Sew Happy BLOM.
Love you BOM’s. This is my 3rd one. I have used layer cakes, jelly rolls, and fat quarters.
Thank you so much for the block of the month.
I am new to quilting and using jelly rolls and fat quarters.
I am new to this site. I so loved the quilt featured in the passport to quilting. I like to work with rolypolies and jelly rolls. When I get crazy j but yardage and sometimes don’t know when to stop. Lol
gerripfennig@gmail.com
Keep on being creative 💕
I use jelly rolls and layer cakes
I sew the most with jelly rolls and Charm packs. I make bags with the charm packs and give them as gifts. Everyone that I have made them for, love them. A couple people have asked me for another one as they wore the first one out.
I’m new to quilting so I have only used one precut and that was a fat quarter. I feel so inspired by visiting your site! I am looking forward to completing this block of the month quilt!
I love working with all the precuts as there are so many patterns out there. I’ve made quilts with jelly rolls, charm packs, and mini charm packs. So much fun to see what gets made.
I still consider myself a newbie quilter. I have purchased mostly fat quarters & jelly rolls.
I use fat quarters mostly. I have used jelly rolls. I have a couple charm packs and layer cakes that I’m trying to figure out a pattern for. I also make lots of store samples, do I use yardage as predetermined by the pattern.
Cdgoforth32@gmail.com
I don’t really have a preference – depending on the project, I will use any of the precuts – charms, jelly rolls, layer cakes, FQ bundles. And I have waaay too many of each, LOL!
baj555(at)yahoo(dot)com
Mostly I use fat quarters or charm squares or jelly rolls, plus yardage and some well=guarded scraps. I used to avoid precuts as being the lazy approach to quilting, but then I realized that precuts are the only way to experience an entire collection. Now, if I could only remember where I saw that interesting green with wavy. . .
I love to work with jelly rolls, layer cakes and 5” squares. I love it all. It also depends on the pattern I am using.
k.s.hollis2006@gmail.com
Fat quarters, jelly rolls, charm packs
Love this Block of the Month so bright and cheerful!
I tend to use fat quarters and jelly rolls! Love the BOM!
Beautiful prizes! BOMs are always fun to do!
I like fat quarters and 5” charm squares, but will use others as well.
I love sewing with jelly rolls and charm packs. They are so versatile and easy to work with. I love the May SAL block, so lovely!
I have purchased fat quarters, stackers/layer cakes, rolie polie/jelly roll, and charm squares, but I have not sewn any of these up yet. I have several patterns to try. I am really enjoying seeing variety in this club that gets posted, and I look forward to trying many new things.
Thank you for the patterns! I use fat quarters for small projects and yardage for larger quilts.
I am new to the quilt only less than a year. So far, I do layer cake and jelly roll. Learning how to get all the colors to match. Learning more every week.
I sew with all types of precuts. At the moment I have 4 quilts I am working on and they are made using layer cakes. If you looked in my stash you would find an abundance of fat quarters. It is hard to resist bringing a few (or a lot) of them home whenever I encounter them.
I just love your blog, I’ve loved making you sew slings. Sometimes I use layer cakes and sometimes I use fat quarters. It depends on the project. Thanks, CarolK
Good morning,
I have found I like to quilt with fat quarters, charm squares, and layer cakes. Quilting has been so rewarding at this season of life :)
I mostly sew with fat quarters.
I quilt anything I can get my hands on :) I lost everything in a wildfire a while back including 5 quilts for family. I’m slowly in the process of making more for my 17 kids and grandchildren and for the eventual rebuild.
Check out The Catbird Quilts. She uses 100% cotton men’s dress shirts from thrift stores. An XXL will give you about a yard of fabric sometimes as cheap as $1.00.
I like to sew with fat quarters.
All fabric. Jellyrolls, fat quarters, yardage. Any color. Any style.
I love working with precuts. They make a great starting point for many projects.
I have used jelly rolls, charm packs and fat quarters. I most often fall in love with a remnant and then build my pallet around them.
I use fat quarters and other precuts. Thank you so much for the BOM and other patterns available on your site. I love fabric and quilting!
I’ve never used precuts before. When I have used strips in the past to make checkerboards and then HST, the points never lined up.
Very beautiful prizes for May! Thank you Aurifil and Riley Blake! I’ve been using Aurifil thread for at least 20 years for my piecing and Riley Blake fabrics are so luscious. My favorite precut is fat quarters. Or layer cakes.
I used fat quarters and some charm packs. Love the colors that I seen.
I mostly use fat quarters.
Thanks for the chance at these wonderful giveaways.
I love fat quarters, but lately I’ve been exploring with jelly rolls!
Love the sew happy Sew-A-Long. I have been trying to use up my precuts. I have several charm packs, a few jelly rolls & a layer cake left. I love them all!
It all depends on what I am sewing, mainly charm packs and jelly rolls, I use yardage for backing!! :)
Love the Prizes! I use Fat Quarters or Layer Cakes! More fabric the merrier!
I have been hard at work on scraps and UFOs. My next project is going to use layer cakes. Just have to mix it up! Thanks for the chance to win!
I have sewed with all of the pre-cuts, but I prefer fat quarters because of their versatility. But I also make a lot of smaller projects, like wall hangings & table runners, & charm squares are perfect for those kinds of projects!
I love sewing with fat quarters. I find them so versatile as a precut. Thank you.
My favorite precut is fat quarters but I love anything that sparks my creativity!
I have only used precuts once and they were fat quarters. Would love to try other options though. My email is belcherd6@bellsouth.net
Love seeing all the different results from the same pattern!
I like to sew with charm packs, jelly rolls
I use fat quarters mostly.
I usually buy yardage but have purchased charm squares, layer cakes and fat quarters. Fat quarters are my favorite of the precuts. I love applique and fussy cut a lot and fat quarters are better for fussy cutting.
I use some fat quarters, but most of my projects require jelly rolls or 10″ stackers.
I love how I can get more fabric variety and finish projects faster with these precuts.
I had never used precuts until I found some in the bottom of a box of fabric I was given -they are wonderful when you need to get baby quilts done quickly! I have used jelly rolls and charm packs.
I love to sew with layer cakes. Love the variety in each.
Love to buy fat quarter bundles and then make a quilt knowing that the fat quarters are coordinated,
Fat quarters are what I tend to stock up on. I can’t resist them. I do love jelly rolls, too.
I use mostly fat quarters and have used some charm squares.
There are so many cute patterns using precuts that I use all of them: layer cakes, mini charms, charms, and jelly rolls. I love them all. I do love yardage and a fat quarter bundle is a great thing. Wish they weren’t so pricy. Precuts make my “scrappy” quilt look good together. I am enjoying this sew a long. Thank you!
I’m new to quilting. I’ve used a few jelly rolls and fat quarters, as well as cuts from the bolt. Am doing the Riley Blake Bench Pillow of the month and learning a lot of techniques. My daughter has asked me to make a full quilt, which we went and she picked out fabrics last Friday. I’m curious how long it will take to make it.
My favorites are layer cakes and fat quarters.
I’m new to sewing/quilting so I’m trying to get a “feel” for what I like best… I have tried fat quarters, charm packs, and jelly-rolls, and of course, just regular yardage. I’m learning that each fabric “pack” seems to serve its own purpose. 🤔
I have to admit,I seldom use precuts.I’ve only been quilting since just before the covid shutdown, and only use what I have already. Therefore,my ‘precuts’ are scraps from yardage!
I mostly like fat quarters perfect for making masks and zipper pouches!
I use a lot of Fat Quarters. I have enjoyed doing your Sew Alongs for a few years now. Usually purchase your kits. Easier then trying to find the just right fabric.
What kind of precuts do you sew with? (fat quarters, stackers/layer cakes, rolie polie/jelly roll, charm squares, etc.).
I like them all! lol However, I do prefer jelly rolls. Love the BOM and the patterns, now the giveaway, thank you.
I love this BOM with sewing fabrics! I tend to use fat quarters the most as I like scrappy looking quilts.
I usually buy yardage but sometimes use fat quarters or charm packs. Thanks for the cute patterns. I always enjoy your projects.
lately I’ve been using mostly jelly rolls and fat quarters.
I have used jelly rolls, charm packs and fat quarters. I have not used a layer cake, but would like to ! I love pre-cuts as cutting is my least favorite part of quilting!
I probably prefer fat quarters over smaller cuts. I’ve a good collection of fat-quartet fabrics that I’ve bought as sets. I like getting all tjos fabrics that coordinate so well with each other.
I use fat quarters and just regular cuts from the bolts. I haven’t gotten up the courage yet to do any other type of fabric.
I am working on 2 jelly roll quilts right now along with another quilt using layer cakes. Soon I will be starting a charm pack quilt. I have a large stash that I am trying to use up before I am too old to quilt. I think that my favorite precut is the one I am working with at the moment! joyce.staley@gmail.com
Sew Happy is going to be so fun! I sew primarily with layer cakes, fat quarters & charm squares – as I’ve been quilting nearly 50 years its mostly scrappy at this stage. Thank you for the giveaways and all the work that went into making this all possible!
I mostly use fat quarters and jelly rolls, but I have bought layer cakes and charm packs to use eventually.
I love to collect fat quarters. I like scrappy quilts. Using a variety of fat quarters helps with getting a variety of fabrics.
I love fat quarters, but have also used jelly rolls and layer cakes! I love them all.
This is great. Love it
I have used charm packs, jelly rolls and fat quarters. I love the variety of fabric when using precuts.
I use a lot of pre-cuts but my favorite is the Layer Cake because you get a better view of the various prints and aren’t as hard on my wallet.
Fat Quarters and Layer cakes so far. I haven’t tried any others.
I use all pre cuts but lately I’ve been using Fat Quarters. It’s wonderful that Aurfil and Riley Blake are so genuous with their products to share.
I love using 2-1/2″ strips for quilt projects. 10″ squares are great also.
I also love doing little small projects.
I mostly use Fat Quarters. I do have some other cuts, but I never seem to go to them. Need to push myself more to use what I have.
I love the new fabric line with the sewing machines. And the colors look like a lot of fun to work with. I mostly use layer cakes or fat quarters. I love unique and detail designs.
I love all precuts! I love doing challenges with each size! So fun. Fat quarters are probably at the top of the list though, because they can become all the sizes!
I do jelly rolls and and scrappy out of lots of material on hand. Have done a few kits and several of your block of the month projects.
My favorite pre cut is the fat quarter. They are versatile and reasonably priced. No sense of buying a yard if you only need a little!!
I sew using all the precuts, but fat quarters are my favorite.
I love all precuts! I hate to choose fabric so precuts are all there for me!
What a wonderful giveaway, I have used all sizes of precuts in one project or another. I love using themed precuts so that I don’t have to try to match fabrics. That is why I love using kits from Art of home store. All the fabrics are there. Thank you for all the inspiration.
I have used charms and layer cakes and jelly rolls in previous quilty projects
Hello and thank you for the giveaway! I have recently been using more pre cuts to save time. Mostly jelly roll and layer cakes. I am more ready to sew than to cut
Thank you for this fun sew along….love spools! Lately I’ve been using charm packs more than any other pre-cut but I have used jelly rolls and fat quarters too. I think they have some great patterns for them and I like having most of the cutting work done for me!
Thank you for sharing a fun BOM. I can’t wait to get started on it. What a great give away. We all love precuts.
Precuts are a quick way to appease a fabric addiction!
I love to use charm packs and fat quarters.
I use fat quarters and charm packs the most.
I use jelly rolls and charm packs occasionally. Once I used a layer cake. Thanks for your fun patterns! You’ve so generous!
I will use fat quarter for this project. I do not collect jelly roll or charm pack.
The precuts I tend to use are fat quarters and jelly rolls-so many patterns and designs to use them on. I enjoy BOM quilts to keep me grounded and working!

Love the colors and enjoy block of the month. I work mainly with fat quarters and stacks but use them all.
I love getting Charm packs to have the full line of coordinated fabrics and the versatility of patterns you can use them in. When I really love a fabric line I find fat quarters and layer cakes are my go-to’s for bigger quilts. But when it comes to sewing in a peaceful place, be it a campground or a hospital waiting room, hand-sewing charm squares always quiets my soul and brings me great joy.
I would love either of the gifts this month. I use yardage, jelly rolls, fat quarters and charm oaks. I love to sew. We move a year or so ago and had to get rid of a lot. I am slowly building my supplies back.
gtid654@gmail.com
Good morning and what beautiful giveaways you are offering. I use yardage, fat quarters and jelly rolls. I recently ordered a charm pack of Christmas fabric. Just couldn’t resist the neat patterns. I like making small projects and the different fabric packs are very helpful for those. Thanks again for your free patterns. I embroider those that come with your website and include them in a small quilt project. Crossing my fingers to win a prize.
What a great sew along. I have used fat quarters the most, but have used most every kind of precut. thanks!
Love the BOM club! The designs are so cute. I mainly use fat quarters but have used all sorts of precuts. I find them very handy in whatever project I’m working on.
I use fat quarters, charms and 2.5” mostly … and scraps 🙂

I love using charm packs and layer cakes!
I usually use 1/2 yard bundles to be able to cut my own layer cakes and jelly rolls. If I buy one, it would be a lay cake.
I am sew excited about this QAL. I have the perfect spot to hang it in my sewing room. I am in love with fat quarters, and plan to use them in this quilt. I am a hand quilter so I know that my wall will have a bare spot for awhile. I would also like to use the embroidery, as I am a butterfly and lady bug gal. Thanks so much for the patterns.
I’m a quilter in New Jersey and I like to use jelly rolls and fat quarters in my quilting projects. I enjoy your sew alongside and have made many of them!
I love working with pre-cuts, especially fat quarter bundles. I use them in many of my projects, especially when I’m making bowl cozies. I can make a large and a small one out of each quarter and because they’re bundles, I don’t have to look for coordinating fabric. It’s just cut, sew and gift!
Have signed up for the first time for your BOM. Am looking forward to this. Can’t wait to see what is next.
I sew with any and all precuts and have made bags, quilts, dresses, soft picture books with the charms, jelly rolls, and fat quarter precuts as well as using my leftover scraps.
Thank you for all the wonderful new skills I have acquired by visiting your website/blog. I was a member for about a year but didn’t renew because I had to step away from the many, many projects I needed to complete. I’m back in my sewing room and finishing lots of UFO and starting new ones as well.
Good Luck Everyone — the prizes look amazing!!
This is my first BOM I’ve ever been involved with. I am fairly new to Quilting and am still learning all the different options of pre-cuts to use. I’m certainly enjoying the website and all the expertise and great tips you have offer. Thank you for the opportunity to enter this drawing.
I mostly use fat quarters, but sometimes use jelly rolls. It depends on my project wish list.

I use charm packs mostly but also like layer cakes. This is the second sew along I’ve done and I really enjoy them!

I love block one and I am sure I will love this quilt when it is done. Thank you for having the sew along. I use all precuts. In the last few years I have used only precuts and background fabric. It makes it much easier for me to cut on precuts than yardage.
Thanks again,
Sandra J
I love mini charm packs to make runners. You get to enjoy all the beautiful fabrics.
I love using layer cakes as I can get a lot of quilt squares from each pack. Jelly rolls are great for small scrappy projects.

I love to use jelly rolls and fat quarters most of the time.
Thanks for allowing me to enter the contest. I have only used strips in Quilt of Valor quilts but have never purchased an actual jelly roll and would enjoy trying it out; mainly because the colors and patterns would be in a color array and I wouldn’t have to think about that part of making a quilt.
I use mostly fat quarters, but lately I have been using some charm packs as well. I’ m trying to do the BOM as a 2 color.
I love working with Rollie pollies! I’m looking forward to starting this quilt. I’m currently in Hawai’i and every time I see a red convertible Mustang I think of you. Aloha.

Jelly rolls are my favorite
My autopilot go to precut is usually fat quarters. However, if I find that perfect print or color in any other precut I’ll use that as well.
I prefer jelly rolls the most and I love bright colors in all I do!!!

I use fat quarters and 5″ squares mostly. I have used jellyrolls at times too. I love that even though only one pattern is available per week you provided the cutting instructions for all the blocks. Cutting is my least favorite part.
Love the new Sew Happy BOM! I love quilting with all the precuts, depending on the project, but my go to ones are the layer cakes and charm packs – so versatile!
I am a beginner and can never seem to get enough sewing time in. I love anything scrappy! All precuts are fabulous but I love layer cakes, you can do so much with them and save so much time! That leaves more time to sew! Thank you for all your guidance on my sewing journey!
Love this month’s block, can’t wait to get next month’s. Than you for sharing!
I haven’t tried pre-cuts… but have a couple of jellyrolls and fat quarters I’m looking forward to using in projects I have in mind.
I am excited to have all of the block patterns for this sew happy block project.
Thanks for the project and this giveaway
I like all the different precuts but probably use Jelly Rolls the most.
My favorite precuts lately are l0″ squares. I love the variety and am using “Sew Bloom” by Cherry Guidry for my Sew Happy Blocks.
Since I am new to quilting all the pre-cuts seem to make quilting so much easier, which in turn makes it more fun for me! My favorite right now, is the fat quarters.
I enjoy using 10″ squares, jelly roll and charm packs with my yardage but charm packs are probably my favorite.
I use lots of precuts. I use jelly rolls, charm squares, fat quarters and layer cakes most of the time
Really enjoy the BOM. I prefer to use fat quarters but jelly rolls offer a great variety that are coordinated.
I like working with jelly rolls, charm squares and fat quarters.
My favorite precut is almost always fat quarter bundles. I love all the different pieces and they are the most versatile in sampler quilts!

Fat Quarters
Recently, I have been working with layer Cakes as the start of several baby quilts
I normally use fat quarters but I’m not opposed to using other precuts. Lol
I am new to quilting and am still exploring what I want to use. I’ve been looking at all different kinds of layer cakes and jelly rolls.
I enjoy sewing with various precuts; mini charms, charm packs, fat quarters, layer cakes and jelly rolls. Depends on the pattern as to which precut I use. Thank you for the chance to win the wonderful prizes.
I enjoy sewing with my collection of fat quarters and jelly rolls.
My favorites are charm squares and jelly rolls.
I am one that has all the precuts in their stash just waiting for that perfect pattern. I have used several of the charms for bags and I am in the process of using some jelly rolls for several mystery quilts.
So excited for this Block of the month quilt. I love seeing all the different quilts. I use a lot of fat squares and charm packs.
I usually buy fat quarters – however, I made a couple of quilts using the magic 8 method of making HST’s – using charm packs! They were a blast to make!
I have used Fat Quarters, Jelly Rolls, Charm Packs and Layer Cakes. They make matching colors so much easier!! I have several of each in my stash, just waiting for the perfect pattern!
Very exciting about the give away!
Such a cute BOM!! Love the Riley Blake fabric colorway as well!!
I ordered the Sew Happy Quilt Kit and the Labels. Have made my first block and love the fabrics. I mostly use Fat Quarter Bundles but have used other precuts. Love all of your projects.
I like using charm packs and jelly rolls. Like the variety you get in them.
Love all the designs. Have been having fun with charm packs.
I tend towards jelly rolls, but use tons of different precuts depending on the project. Love fat quarters for non-quilting things like bags pillows.
I usually use fat quarters and jelly rolls. I’ m a fan of smaller quilts , table toppers, wall quilts and smaller items. I’ve done a couple of queen and kings size quilts but all I have is my trusty heavy duty Singer 4423 and larger quilts are very cumbersome to work with. I love making things for family, friends and charities. My Sew Happy block one is finish. Anxiously awaiting block 2.
I love this, so exciting!! I use fat quarters and have only used the jelly roll once. But would love to give them all a try. Thank you!
I use yardage but would like to expand my skill level to using jelly rolls, and precuts.
I’m a fairly new quilter and like the crib size or smaller so I can quilt them myself.
I prefer Fat Quarters since they are more versatile for different types of patterns/projects.
I’m like fat quarter bundles these days. You can do so many different things with them. With that said if I like the color or fabric of all the rest of precuts I’m not opposed to buying them.
Hi, I have used fat quarters and charm squares.
I like using fat quarters and an d 2 1/2 inch strips.
I love using different pre-cuts in my projects because you don’t have to second guess measurements when making blocks.. I especially love the layer cakes fabrics for making potholders and bowl cozies. They are the perfect size. And charm squares.
Such pretty colors in the thread packs. I love fat quarter bundles. However I will buy a layer cake (10 inch squares) or the jelly roll if I have a specific pattern I am following.
I am currently working on a hexi quilt so I’ve been using 5” charm squares cut into 4. It’s a quick little project I can do in the evening watching a movie.
I really like layer cakes. They are so versatile. I love to try new patterns and challenge myself with pretty fabric and reliable thread.
Love this quilt along! I usually. Use fat quarters to quilt with.
My very favorite precut is layer cakes. I find them very versatile and work with most of my projects.
I love sewing with jelly rolls and fat quarters and I loved the free quilt block
Thank you for all the great projects. Layer cakes and charm squares are my favorite precut.
I love layer cakes- they make great fussy cuts. I also like the charm squares- they are perfect for half square triangles. The jelly rolls are fun for strip quilts. I live learning new patterns and techniques. Your projects are so fun! My first project with you was during Covid. It gave me a fun focus during a stressful time.
I like fat quarters and 10″ squares best. Thank you for the chance to win some great prizes.
I like to use fat quarters the most. They work quite well for the quilts that I make.
I enjoy sewing with fat quarters and jelly rolls Gives me a variety to choose from and use yardage to fill in where needed. I also love the way the aurofil thread sews..a nice smooth thread.
Thank you for this sew along! I usually sew with fat quarters or jelly rolls if I’m sewing with precuts.
I use mostly jelly rolls or charm squares for precuts
I enjoy sewing with jelly rolls and fat quarters depending on what I’m sewing. I make lot of things for my classroom.
I love layer cakes! Enough for an entire quilt and variety of coordinating fabrics!
I love fat quarters.
My most frequently used precuts are fat quarters. Matched with tone on tone yardage from my embarrassing stash!
I most often use layer cakes.
I love using precuts, because you get a full sampling of the whole collection, which are all beautifully coordinated. Right now, I’m sewing with a layer cake set. I also love fat quarters and jelly rolls. Aurifil thread is the only thread I use for piecing and quilting. I’m excited for this new Sew Happy BOM. Thank you for all you do Jacquelynne.
I mostly use fat quarters. I like doing scrappy projects, and fat quarters allows me to have plenty of variety on hand without taking up too much space.
I’m a scrappy gal so love fat quarters!
I have used most of the precuts, but my favorite is the fat quarters. I don’t have to worry if my choices are going to coordinate.
I’m looking forward to making this quilt. It should look great in my sewing room.
I sew with all the precuts! I love them all and collect when I can.
I so love your patterns. I enjoy using a combination of appliqué and embroidery. My favorite precut is fat quarters.
Good luck everyone
I use all kinds of pre-cuts, but am especially liking fat quarters lately.
I love precuts … but if I had to choose just one, probably a layer cake as I can do almost anything with it! Thank you for a fun BOM!
I love this club and all the great patterns and kits! Layer cakes are my favorite pre-cuts, but I also really like jelly rolls
I love to sew with 5″ charm squares. I also love the fat quarters and jelly rolls. To be honest I just love fabric. Love your patterns. Have been in the club for a l o n g time. Thanks for all you do. Rebecca Britton
