Hello, Creative Friends! Today I am going to introduce you to our featured bloggers for the Maggie’s First Dance Free Block of the Month! You may remember that I had a contest a couple of months ago, where people could submit their blogs. Once again, you guys totally overwhelmed me! So many really terrific blogs, it was so hard to choose!
I think I’ve chosen a nice variety for you- the idea is that as we do our monthly blocks, you will hop on over to these blogs and see how the bloggers are doing on theirs, see what fabrics they are using, etc. Also, every month they will be hosting giveaways- so you will want to be sure to click over to enter!
This month, we are having our first Blog Hop and Giveaway… here is the prize:
To enter, you must visit the blogs below. Stop by, say hello, and enter to win!
Grey Dogwood Studio
Farmhouse Quilts Blog

Please note, that I am NOT having a giveaway here on my blog- you must visit the blogs above to enter.

Thank you for this BOM blog hop. I love quilts, they fascinate me. I don’t actually quilt with fabrics, I draw pictures that can easily be made into a quilt.

I am very excited to say that I am completing a wall hanging that I have had since 2010.
I’m part of the Splendid Sampler and do looking forward to our BOM. I’m also quilting a hexagon quilt.
I love Bom. What bonus to get am free one too. It looks like it’s going to be a lovely quilt also. I like all those borders. Now for fabric requirements so I know what to buy. I do most of my purchases online, so I need time to choose, purchase, shipping, n finding n ironing the fabrics.
May we please have a tip on the type of fabrics we should be looking for? Like large prints versus petite prints. Monochromatic versus high contrasts, etc
Thank you for this I really appreciate the opportunity to do this. Your block st S. Sampler was awesome, love your embroideries.
