Did you know that October is National Cookie Month? I’ve featured lots of cookie recipes on my blog… Why do I love cookies? Because there are so many different flavors and textures, and they are a portable little treat. You can make fancy cut out cookies, old-fashioned drop cookies, or quick and easy bars. When you walk into a room carrying a plate of freshly baked cookies, you suddenly become very popular! What’s better than a cookie, still warm from the oven, enjoyed with a cold glass of milk, or a cup of tea?
So here is a rundown of some of my favorite cookie recipes. Enjoy. And then maybe go for a jog or something. You want to still be able to button your pants at the end of the month.

Look yummy! Now I have an excuse to buy the giant bag of craisins at Costco. We always figure if it’s got oatmeal and fruit it’s healthy, right?
Yes- TOTALLY healthy!!
Those Trashy Bars have been a hit!
It’s hard to go wrong with brownies AND Oreos AND chocolate chip cookies, LOL!!!
These all look delicious. It seems the link to the brown sugar cardamon cookies is not working when clicking on the picture.
Thanks for the heads-up, Deb! I fixed the link for the Brown Sugar Cardamon cookies.
The “Lemon Cookies” are a real hit – everyone always loves them, and so easy to make.
Yes- aren’t they super-easy!! They are a favorite “go-to” recipe when I need a really quick dessert!
Cookies are dangerous, You can keep reaching in and eat a million of them. And with “from your hips to your lips” OH MY!
That’s true- it’s easy to just keep “popping” them into your mouth- much easier than say, a piece of pie!
Yum!! perfect for holiday giving (and eating)! Thanks for sharing the recipes!
Good idea to give some away, so you don’t eat too many, lol.
Thank you, I pinned them all so I can find them easily! Love to make a new cookie!
Thanks for Pinning, Cathy! I LOVE cookies! They’re really my favorite thing to bake :)
