This fun and easy workshop includes detailed instructions, patterns, and videos so that you can follow along in making this cute project. You’ll learn how to do machine applique, tips for making perfect HSTs, and how to put it all together into a cute needlebook.

WARNING – making these little needlebooks becomes addictive!

This workshop was originally a live Zoom event, but we’ve converted it to a standalone class that you’ll be able to access any time you want to download the patterns and watch the videos.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

In this 4 session workshop, we’ll be making a super cute needlebook, perfect for storing needles, embroidery scissors, pens, and other sewing and embroidery supplies.  The needlebook features five applique options for the front cover, and a personalized back cover that you can design yourself.

You’ll learn machine applique step-by-step, from supplies to prepping & sewing, with LOTS of helpful tips!

I’ll show you my favorite way to make perfect HSTs, and the almost limitless ways you can arrange them to make your back cover.

Hi, I’m Jacquelynne

Creativity is such an important part of my life, and I LOVE being able to design patterns and projects that help others to be creative as well.

I also believe that expressing ourselves creatively should be FUN, not frustrating.  I take care in writing my patterns to make sure there are lots of diagrams and detailed instructions, so you can easily follow along and get the satisfaction of finishing your project without frustration or dissapointment.

I hope you join me in this workshop – it’s going to be a lot of fun!

See what our “Sew Quilty Friends” are are saying….

Our friends love the clearly written instructions (with lots of diagrams) that we use in all of our sewing projects.

CREATIVITY WITHOUT FRUSTRATION = FUN!

“Thank you so much for your tutorials.  They are very informative, and I understand better as to why your way of doing things is simpler and easier and has a reason.  Your photos are also great because I am a visual person and don’t always understand written directions, but a picture with the instructions is worth a million words.”

Lavonne T.

“Thank you so much for making your current sew along instructions so clear and short! I am working on another BOW and the instructions for the first 7 piece block were 7 pages long with a 30 minute video! Your instructions are great and have the perfect pictures.”

Stacey W.

“I first found Jacquelynne for one of her sew alongs – I was so impressed with how well written the first block instructions were and how easy it was to follow. With each additional block, I found I was learning new techniques and improving my overall quilting results. It was perfect for a beginner, but challenging enough for a semi-experienced quilter like myself.

Janet R.

“Your directions make it so easy to sew the project.  Working on your patterns is a breath of fresh air!  Your directions are logical, contain sizes, and include lots of pictures.  Color me a huge fan of your work!”
