Today we are releasing our April pattern for the Small and Sweet Mini Quilt Club! Normally the patterns get released on the 15th of the month, but, SURPRISE! – the pattern was done early so Michele and I decided, Why not??
(In case you are brand new and wondering what our mini quilt club is all about- click here to find out all about it.)
The pattern is called “Oh, Cherry!” and I keep finding myself singing the 1980’s Steve Perry song, Oh Sherrie! (After this, that song will probably be playing in your head, too…) This is not my first quilt made with a cherry motif– I just think they are so cheery and cute, I can’t resist. And I love this palette, it’s so refreshing.
You could make extra blocks and make a larger version of this quilt (wouldn’t this be great for summer!):
and if you just like the block pattern, you could leave off the applique and do a larger version as well:
This is a really great block- Want to see what it would look like in Christmas-y/winter colors?
The pattern has a couple of other colorways shown as well, plus a blank quilt template which you can use for coloring to play with your colors and arrangement.
Do you want to make this quilt? You can click here to join our Small and Sweet Club, or you can purchase the pattern individually here.
The club has been so much fun, I love seeing what everyone is making! There are 2 patterns left (May and June)! You can post your photos on my Facebook page here and in Michele’s Facebook group here. You can also post to Instagram using the tag #SmallAndSweetQuilt
