Yes, I am still posting photos from Quilt Market 2015 Minneapolis. This is part 3. I hope you are still enjoying the photos… I personally love seeing so many beautiful creations… Even if we don’t have time to make them all ourselves in this lifetime (do you think there is quilting in heaven???), then we can at least enjoy looking at the photos of other people’s projects, right?

I love getting to see all of my friends and creative kindred spirits at Market. This is me with my pal Helen Stubbings of Hugs’n Kisses. Helen comes all the way from Australia to do the show once a year- And I’m so glad that she does! (this is kind of a weird picture of both of us!)

This is the adorable Pat Wys at her book signing in the Martingale booth for her new book, Handmade Christmas Cheer. Super-cute book!

Here I am with the darling Jill Finley of Jillily Studio. Jill is courageously battling breast cancer, and we were all so happy to see her at Market! She has an incredible attitude and a wonderful, sweet spirit. Please join us in praying for her complete recovery.

(Do you remember back in January, when I shared with you a tutorial for a pink quilt block that I was working on for a friend?)

Here is Jill’s quilt, assembled by the girls from LizzieBCre8ive. Isn’t it wonderful?

So, anyway, back to Quilt Market… lest you think that daughter and I spent all of our time at the convention center… we enjoyed some really yummy food and drink…

Quilt Market dinner

I discovered a drink, called something like a Foxy Devil? I don’t know, whatever it was called, it was deee-licious with lemon, ginger, and hints of basil. It was just right after a looooooong day on the trade show floor.

(that is a ginger ale my daughter is enjoying!)

And we even managed to get over to the Mall of America for an afternoon. It is unbelievable- there is an actual amusement park and aquarium right inside the mall! And, I had no idea that they even have a wedding chapel- yes a little wedding chapel- in the mall! They also had a See’s Candy, which we don’t have at all here on the east coast. So we got a little something to bring home for hubby- I sure hope he shares with us, lol.

And remember I said the other day that daughter and I didn’t get a single photo of us together at the show? Well, we did do some goofy selfies in the hotel room…

That’s it for this post. I have one more post to show you, with photos of some absolutely stunning quilts. Don’t miss it….
