Yesterday, daughter and I got back from Quilt Market 2015 in Minneapolis. And realized that we forgot to get a single photo of the two of us together at the show! Oh well- we got lots of photos of the booths and quilts, which is the important thing. Every time I go, I swear that next time I will bring my good camera and get some good shots instead of relying on the iPhone. And then, when I’m packing, I decide that it’s just too heavy and bulky to carry around… and then I get there and wish that I had it! So- all of these photos were taken with our iPhones.
I am going to break this up into several posts, because there are A LOT of photos! (I know when it comes to Quilt Market, the more photos the better!) So here are some of our International Quilt Market 2015 Minneapolis Photos:
I loved this booth by May Chappell– a little traditional, a little modern. Fun colors!
My good friend Brenda Riddle is now designing fabric for Moda. Her booth space was lovely as ever!
Loved this display at the Marcus Fabrics booth, for Gracie’s Schoolhouse Classics. Check out the unbelievably adorable sewing machine cover:
(get a kit to make a similar cover here- this is an affiliate link.)
If you are a fan of Anna Maria Horner, there was plenty to see at this Market! This quilt was featured in her booth, as well as the really cool cross-stitch pillow:
This is her Bird Cage on a Chain quilt, shown in a display in the Michael Miller booth:
Another pretty display at the Michael Miller booth, for the new fabric line called Melodies:
The modern quilt trend is still going strong. These are some cool quilts featured in Valori Wells‘ booth (Robert Kaufman Fabrics):
And, wool is popular as ever. This was a booth which was nicely done by The Little Red Hen:
Cute little stuffed bunny in the Lecien booth:
Pretty fabric line by Sharon Holland for Art Gallery called Sketchbook. I loved her booth space, with the little art desk!
That’s it for today… but I have lots more photos to share! Next time, I will be showing you some of my favorite new products (well, new to me, anyway) and plenty more quilt photos. So come on back soon!

Thanks for sharing! For those of us who can’t go to market, it’s great to see the new things!
Looks like a lot of fun. I LOVE that camper sewing machine cover!
I love seeing pictures from Quilt Market.
Thank’s for the glimpse of the first day at Market. Wish I would have been a little fly on the wall.
Thanks for the peek a boo!
Loved that camper cover enough to research…it’s in Etsy by Rainbow Hare- Vintage Caravan Sewing machine cover pattern! Thanks for all the pics!!! Jealous!!!
Thanks for tracking that down, Merrilee! It’s sooooo cute!!
Thank you for all of the pictures! You took photos of pretty booths that I didn’t see on Instagram. I’m glad wool is still popular!
Oh yes, I think I saw just as much wool at this Market as I have any other. Still going strong!
Thanks for giving us a peek at quilt market. I would have a hard time sleeping at night with all of that inspiration! Have fun with your daughter – those visits are so precious!
I think we all went crazy over the caravan sewing machine cover. Have to have one! Thank you for sharing the show pictures. Is there a quilt show/market closer to NJ that the public can attend? I’d love to take my sister with me to shop one.
Hi Carol! There is a show in Lancaster PA in the spring http://www.quiltweek.com/locations/lancaster/ and another that runs in Lancaster during the same week http://www.lancasterquiltshow.webs.com/ It’s a good week to go, in addition to the 2 shows, a lot of quilt shops in the area have good sales. These are both retail shows, open to the public. Not quite the same, as it’s not for the trade, you won’t see the elaborate booth displays, but it’s awfully fun to shop!
Thanks for taking the time to take ans share the photos. These are amazing booths. Loved the Lecien bunny!
Love your market pics.
Thanks for including such great photos of my booth! I enjoyed meeting you!!
This is the right web site for everyone who wishes to find out about this
topic. You know a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you
(not that I really will need to…HaHa). You certainly put
a brand new spin on a topic that’s been written about for ages.
Excellent stuff, just excellent!
Jacquelinne, I go to Houston from Spain.
see you in market.
