Hello to all of the new visitors to my blog! I’m very happy to be part of this year’s Quilters Meet & Greet, sponsored by Benita Skinner of Victoriana Quilt Designs! This “blog hop” will give you the opportunity to check out some blogs which you may not be familiar with, and enter to win an UNBELIEVABLE prize! Click here to see a list of all of the other bloggers participating.  And click here to enter to win the fabulous prize!

This giveaway runs all through September, and you can get an entry for the prize at each blog you stop by. Just go to each blog,  then click over to the prize page to enter. This is going to make this month of September super FUN!!

As part of this fun little adventure, we are supposed to show one of our favorite quilts- I have to admit that I have so many favorites! You can’t choose a favorite child, right? My favorite quilt is usually the one that I’m currently working on, or have recently finished. That is definitely the case for my Happy Little Things FREE Block of the Month!! We are doing it in TWO different colorways- Cottage and Desert!! Which is your favorite?

We have fabric kits available for sale in both colorways- but they are not required. Use some of your favorite fabrics out of your stash!!

And it’s not too late to sign up… Sign up now and get the first 2 blocks which have already been released, then get a new block each month. We have giveaways each month, too!! Here is this month’s giveaway.

The instructions include patterns for applique and embroidery, or you could just do piecing- You get to choose how you want to make it! We even have preprinted fabric squares for the middle of the block, so you could do something like this:

Oh, and we have bug charms AND tiny little buttons, so you could do something like this:

Oh, and we have coordinating quilt labels and pretty decorative pins to match, too!!

(Again- no purchase necessary to participate in our Free Block of the Month! Just click here to sign up, and you’ll receive emails with the links!)

There are just soooo many ways to make this quilt…. I hope you’ll come sew along with us! Check out our Sew Quilty Friends Facebook page, where people are posting their photos!
