And, to go with the pin cushion, I made a matching needle book. (To be honest, I always wondered about how useful needle books are… then one of my wonderful quilt-y friends gave me one that she made for me, and I treasure it! It is constantly by my side as I do my hand sewing in the evenings, always a nice reminder of her thoughtfulness…)
