I thought I’d show you some more photos of one of the featured projects in the latest issue of The Art of Home Free emagazine. The project was designed by Sandy Whitelaw over at Upstairs Hobby Room. This is the original project shown in the magazine, using cheerful fabrics perfect for Spring and Summer:
Sandy made the mini-table topper in a couple of other colorways as well. She used bold Cotton & Steel fabric for this one. I really like how it makes the block pattern “pop”:
Then she made this one, and cleverly turned it into a sewing machine cover:
For more photos of Sandy’s project, please visit her blog here. To get a copy of the Free emagazine, which includes this pattern, please click here. (And remember, if you make this project, please post photos on social media using the hashtag #twistsandchurns).
Speaking of the emagazine, I have those adorable little decorative pins for the Tuffet Pin Cushions back in stock! They sold out very quickly last time- click here to order yours before I run out again.
Next week, I will be launching the new Free Block of the Month! (If you are a subscriber, you are should have already received an email from me with the name of our new Block of the Month….) You will be able to sign up starting next week- it promises to be TONS of fun! I know I keep saying it… but this quilt is adorable. Stay tuned!
We were in Germany when your free e-magazine came out and with problems of e-mail I don’t think I got it, what should I do? I enjoy your magazine and I know you put a lot of work into it..Thanks, Sharon
HI Sharon- I sent you an email.
Please send me block 1 art of home. I deleted it and did not intend to do it. Please send it by email
Thank you. Look forward to this project
I would love to have the cutting instructions for “twists and churns” I just discovered your website via Pinterest; and it is now 2018! I love this churn dash and connecting chains topper and would love to do a bedsize quilt in pastels. If you are still active, please e-mail me. Thank you.
