I thought I’d show you some more photos of one of the featured projects in the latest issue of The Art of Home Free emagazine. The project was designed by Sandy Whitelaw over at Upstairs Hobby Room. This is the original project shown in the magazine, using cheerful fabrics perfect for Spring and Summer:
Sandy made the mini-table topper in a couple of other colorways as well. She used bold Cotton & Steel fabric for this one. I really like how it makes the block pattern “pop”:
Then she made this one, and cleverly turned it into a sewing machine cover:
For more photos of Sandy’s project, please visit her blog here. To get a copy of the Free emagazine, which includes this pattern, please click here. (And remember, if you make this project, please post photos on social media using the hashtag #twistsandchurns).
Speaking of the emagazine, I have those adorable little decorative pins for the Tuffet Pin Cushions back in stock! They sold out very quickly last time- click here to order yours before I run out again.
Next week, I will be launching the new Free Block of the Month! (If you are a subscriber, you are should have already received an email from me with the name of our new Block of the Month….) You will be able to sign up starting next week- it promises to be TONS of fun! I know I keep saying it… but this quilt is adorable. Stay tuned!
